A competition was held to select the best applied ideas at the city level in the following fields: genetic engineering, materials science, information technology, agriculture, and energy, on March 7, 2022. An introductory lecture was also organized to explain the competition’s conditions and the application process. A panel of professors from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport served as judges, and two promising ideas were selected from among five submitted entries to win first and second place.
